  • Position: Full sun.
  • Sow Depth: Approximately 3 mm
  • Spacing: 15–30 cm
  • Germination: 5–14 days at 21–26 °C
  • Height: Typically 30-60 cm, depending on growing conditions and variety.
  • Available Pack Sizes: 50 raw seed

Why Grow This Variety

  • White globe flowers brighten mixed plantings and balance stronger colours.
  • Excellent for fresh cutting and dried arrangements.
  • Attracts pollinators while staying neat and manageable in sunny beds.
  • Heat tolerant once established in well-drained soil.

Garden Uses

Use Gomphrena White as a clean contrast in summer borders, mixed cut-flower rows and dried-flower projects. It pairs beautifully with purple Gomphrena, zinnias, celosia, cosmos and warm-toned annuals that benefit from a white balancing flower.

Growing Notes

  • Sow approximately 3 mm deep in warm conditions; germination is usually 5–14 days at about 21–26 °C.
  • Harden seedlings and plant out only after frost risk has passed.
  • Use full sun, free-draining soil and 15–30 cm spacing.
  • Water steadily while young, then avoid constantly wet roots; maintain airflow in humid regions.
  • For fresh use, cut coloured heads before they fully open; for drying, cut fully open heads and hang them in a dry, airy place.
