Growing Information

  • General Sowing Time: Start in pots or trays, then transplant outside once warm weather has settled and frost risk has passed.
  • Position: Sunny, sheltered position protected from strong winds.
  • Sow Depth: About 6 mm in warm seed trays.
  • Spacing: Around 60 cm apart.
  • Germination: Best in warm seed mix at 27-32 C; germination is slow in cool soil.
  • Height: Compact sweet pepper habit; ideal for containers and small productive spaces.

  • Soil: Well-drained soil rich in organic matter; the guide notes pH 6.0-7.0 as ideal.
