Why Grow Zinnia Zesty Scarlet?

  • Scarlet blooms create bold colour impact in summer beds and patio pots.
  • Double-flowered form gives the planting a full, decorative finish.
  • Compact growth suits mass bedding, edging and container displays.
  • Excellent for pollinator-friendly annual plantings.
  • Coated seed is easier to place and handle at sowing time.

Garden Uses

Use Zinnia Zesty Scarlet as a high-impact colour block, or combine it with orange, yellow and white zinnias for a hot summer mix. It also works well near herbs and vegetables where pollinator-attracting flowers are welcome.

Growing Notes

  • Place coated seed in warm mix, cover lightly, wet thoroughly and keep evenly moist until emergence.
  • In frost-prone regions, start seed under cover and transplant gently once conditions are safe.
  • Water deeply, then allow the soil surface to dry slightly between waterings.
  • Avoid overhead watering where possible and keep plants well spaced to reduce mildew pressure.
  • Deadhead or pick flowers often to keep new buds forming through the warm season.
