Growing Notes
Sow one raw seed per clean cell. Cover to 3 mm, keep the medium dark and at 24–26°C, and maintain even moisture without standing water. After emergence, uncover immediately, provide bright light, lower the temperature to about 21–22°C and let the surface approach the dry side of moist between gentle waterings. Persistent wetness, cold media and overhead misting increase damping-off risk.
Plant at the plug depth into full sun after frost and once soil has warmed above 16°C. Use the packet's 30 × 30 cm spacing, water at soil level during establishment, then water deeply only as the upper soil begins to dry. Support and routine pinching are unnecessary.
