  • Growth type: Winter-growing garden Tritonia corms with colourful flower spikes and summer dormancy.
  • Position: Full sun and airflow in sharply draining sandy soil with mature compost.
  • Planting: Plant pointed end up in autumn with about 2 cm soil above small corms, more cover up to about 4 cm for larger ones, and roughly 5 cm between small corms.
  • Water: Water after planting, then wait for shoots before regular deep watering in active growth; never saturate the soil.
