Why Grow Shade Master
- Tufted lawn types suit shaded areas where sun-loving warm-season grasses become thin.
- The non-creeping lawn does not form long runners into neighbouring beds.
- Cold-tolerant perennial components can retain colour when water and nutrition are maintained.
- Existing shaded lawns can be repaired by reseeding bare patches.
Growing Notes
- Reduce heavy canopy and tree-root competition; “shade tolerant” does not mean darkness or dry soil.
- Prepare a fine, firm seedbed and spread the exact mass rate in two crossing passes.
- Keep evenly moist without puddles, then reduce irrigation gradually after rooting.
- First mow at about 70–80 mm, leaving 50–70 mm of leaf. Never remove more than one third.
