Sow Depth and Light: No cover is necessary. A light dusting of vermiculite may hold moisture; keep it no deeper than 1 mm and provide bright germination light.

Germination: 20–22°C. Breeder radicle emergence 5–8 days; current packet 14–21 days for visible germination.

Moisture: Keep the coating evenly moist until it softens, then let the surface approach slightly drier between waterings.

Transplanting: Move a rooted plug at about 4–5 weeks, harden for 7–10 days and plant after frost.

Growing Notes

- One plant suits a 15–20 cm pot; use a larger container for grouped plants.
- Water at the base in the morning and avoid excess nitrogen, which softens the compact growth.
- Snip spent flowers above a healthy leaf or side bud to keep pots flowering neatly.
