Seed Form: Coated seed. Do not soak, crush, scarify or prechill.

General Sowing Time: Spring is the main outdoor season; autumn sowing suits mild, frost-free gardens under protection. Use the regional guide.

Position: Full sun.

Sow Depth and Light: Light is necessary. Surface sow or dust with vermiculite no deeper than the packet’s 1 mm.

Germination: 20–23°C. Breeder root emergence 10–14 days; current packet 14–21 days.

Moisture: Keep the coating evenly moist until it softens, then reduce constant surface wetness and give airflow.

Transplanting: Move a rooted plug at about 4–5 weeks, harden for 7–10 days and plant after frost.

Spacing: 40–50 cm in beds; 30 cm in a managed single cut row with reliable water, feeding and airflow. The packet’s 7 × 10 cm line is not suitable as final garden spacing.

Growing Notes
- Use a clean tray and fine, sterile, freely drained seed mix.
- Give the tallest plants room to branch and dry after rain.
- Water at soil level, avoid rich nitrogen feeding and deadhead or cut regularly for continued bloom.
- Increase airflow in humid districts to reduce botrytis and powdery mildew.
