Quick Grow Facts

  • Growth type: Cool-season Ranunculus asiaticus hybrid with tuberous roots commonly sold as corms.
  • Position: Full sun in cool sites; morning sun and light afternoon shade during heat spikes.
  • Planting: Plant in autumn or early winter once conditions cool, claws down, about 5 cm deep and 15–20 cm apart. Optional cool-water soak up to about 4 hours, then plant immediately.
  • Water: Lightly moist before shoots emerge, then consistent moisture with excellent drainage during growth.
  • Care after flowering: Feed lightly once established, remove spent flowers and retain green foliage. Reduce water as leaves yellow; store dry tuberous roots cool, dry and ventilated.

Ornamental, not edible. Sap and plant parts may irritate skin or mouths; keep away from children and pets.
