Why Grow Petunia S/Cascade Red?

  • Bright red flowers create strong visibility in containers, baskets and warm-colour garden schemes.
  • Well-branched, early, cascading plants make this variety useful for high-impact seasonal colour.
  • Long flowering potential from spring into autumn in well-managed South African gardens.
  • Excellent for pots, baskets, window boxes, border fronts and patio colour.
  • Pelleted seed is easier to handle for accurate tray sowing.

Garden Uses

Use Petunia S/Cascade Red in hanging baskets, patio pots, border fronts and mixed annual displays where the plants can trail and flower freely.

Growing Notes

  • Start seed in trays and keep the surface evenly moist while germinating.
  • Transplant only after frost risk has passed, hardening seedlings off before planting out.
  • Plant into light, fertile, well-draining soil or a quality container mix.
  • Water regularly, but allow the top layer to dry slightly and avoid constantly wet roots.
  • Feed every 2-4 weeks during active flowering and deadhead or trim lightly to keep plants full.
