Marigold Firestone Orange Seed is a deep orange marigold for warm-season garden colour. It is a bright, easy annual for sunny beds, mass planting, borders and cut-flower-style summer displays.

Growing Information

  • General Sowing Time: Spring to summer after frost risk has passed.
  • Position: Full sun.
  • Sow Depth: Sow about 5 mm deep in warm seedling mix or prepared soil.
  • Spacing: 25-30 cm apart for bedding; allow more space where plants grow larger.
  • Germination: 4-7 days at 24-27 C.
  • Height: Varies by Tagetes type; allow roughly 30-120 cm for medium to tall marigolds.
