Why Grow This Variety

  • Crisp light-green leaves add freshness and crunch.
  • The large firm head suits salads and sandwiches.
  • Two pack sizes support small or larger sowing areas.
  • Small succession sowings can extend cool-season harvests.

Garden Uses

Grow Blond De Paris in a fertile vegetable bed, raised planter or wide container and harvest the whole head when it is firm for the type.

Growing Notes

  • Sow thinly in a fine seedbed or one to two seeds per module at exactly 3 mm.
  • Keep the surface at 15–20°C and evenly moist but never saturated for the full 7–14-day window.
  • Thin to one strong plant, transplant without burying the crown and allow 30 cm in both directions.
  • Water the shallow root zone consistently and harvest before sustained heat causes bolting or bitterness.
