• Growth type: Cool-season Ranunculus asiaticus hybrid with tuberous roots commonly sold as corms.
• Position: Full sun in cool sites; morning sun and light afternoon shade during heat spikes.
• Planting: Plant in autumn or early winter once conditions cool, claws down, about 5 cm deep and 15–20 cm apart. Optional cool-water soak up to about 4 hours, then plant immediately.
• Water: Lightly moist before shoots emerge, then consistent moisture with excellent drainage during growth.
