Garden Uses
Use Helichrysum Silvery White as a clean highlight in cut-flower rows, dried-flower collections and mixed sunny borders. It combines well with rose, sulphur, apricot, orange and red tones where a white flower helps lift the whole palette.
Growing Notes
- Surface sow or cover only very lightly; light supports germination.
- Use full sun, free-draining soil and 25–30 cm spacing for airflow and usable stems.
- Keep seedlings evenly moist, then water established plants deeply and let the surface begin drying between waterings.
- Support tall cutting rows where wind or storms are severe.
- For drying, cut when the outer bracts are open but the centre is not fully expanded, then hang in a dry, airy, shaded place.
