Why Grow This Variety

  • Large 20 to 25 cm golden-yellow flowers create a bold focal point.
  • One strong stem per plant gives a clean, upright display.
  • A 40 to 60 cm height suits compact garden spaces.
  • The flowers attract bees and butterflies.

Garden Uses

Plant Single Sunspot along sunny paths, in flower beds or as a compact golden focal point.

Growing Notes

  • Direct sow after frost and keep the shallow 3 mm seed zone evenly moist until emergence.
  • Hold at about 21–24°C; expect germination in 7–14 days.
  • Use the current 50–60 cm packet spacing, or one plant per large stable pot.
  • Do not pinch; protect the dominant growing point that forms the large display head.
  • Plan on about 55–70 days to bloom, with weather and plant vigour affecting height and occasional branching.
