- Plants normally flower without pinching or support.
Garden Uses
Use Azalea Flowered Double Mix as a cool-season border, bed or container display in a sunny, well-drained position.
Growing Notes
- Direct sow into a fine, weed-free bed, or use small plugs where frost or heavy rain requires protection.
- Cover the raw seed by about 3 mm, keep evenly moist at 18–20°C and give bright light as soon as green appears.
- Thin or transplant to 40 cm, handle the root ball rather than the stem and harden plugs over 7–10 days.
- Water at soil level, feed lightly and avoid sustained heat or stagnant humidity.
Ornamental seed: Raw describes the seed form, not food use. Do not eat the seed or plant material unless the purchased lot is specifically labelled for food use.
