  • Growth type: Corm-grown ornamental with arching sprays of fragrant flowers.
  • Position: Sunny, sheltered, cool and bright site with free-draining soil.
  • Planting: Set firm corms point-up, 5 cm deep and 5–8 cm apart in garden beds; container corm tips may sit just above the mix.
  • Water: Keep moist but not saturated during active growth; feed containers from first buds according to fertiliser instructions.
  • Care after flowering: Remove faded stems but retain green foliage until it yellows naturally, then stop regular watering and provide a dry rest; lift where dormant soil stays wet.

Grow as ornamental flowers; keep corms and plant material away from children and pets and do not treat planting stock as food.
