Grow with identification first
Because species, cultivars, proportions and edible parts are not fully declared for this blend, do not eat the seed or any unidentified seedling, leaf or flower. “Raw seed” describes the physical seed form; it does not confirm that seed is untreated or food-grade.
Before any kitchen use, confirm the plant’s full scientific identity, the edible part, and that the delivered lot and every fertiliser or crop-protection input are suitable for that edible crop. Until then, enjoy the mix as an ornamental planting.
Garden Uses
Sow into a sunny, informal bed, broad container or nursery strip for a changing mix of flowers and herbs. Thin early, give vigorous plants more room, and protect young seedlings from drying wind, heavy rain and crowding.
Growing Notes
- Use loose, well-drained soil and keep the top layer evenly moist while seed is germinating.
- Water at soil level and widen spacing to improve airflow as plants become recognisable.
- In frost-prone areas, sow after serious frost risk or start under protection; in hot regions, favour the mildest reliable window.
- Use only products registered for the correctly identified crop and problem, following the label and any pre-harvest interval.
