Garden Uses
Use Celosia Sol Gekko Green as a foliage accent in mixed containers, sunny bedding pockets and patio displays. Its green texture works well beside zinnias, marigolds, petunias and other warm-season colour where a calmer contrast plant is needed.
Growing Notes
- Surface sow and use only a very light cover (no more than 3 mm); the fine seed needs warmth and light.
- Keep trays evenly moist but not waterlogged and provide bright light immediately after emergence.
- Transplant after frost risk has passed and use 35–40 cm spacing for the intended growing system.
- Avoid crowding so compact or foliage plants retain good airflow and shape.
- For cutting, harvest well-coloured stems before flowers become over-mature.
