Growing Notes
- Surface sow and use only a very light cover (no more than 3 mm); the fine seed needs warmth and light.
- Keep trays evenly moist but not waterlogged and provide bright light immediately after emergence.
- Transplant after frost risk has passed and use 30 cm garden; 15–23 cm supported cut row spacing for the intended growing system.
- Support tall cutting rows before wind or heavy rain bends the stems.
- For cutting, harvest well-coloured stems before flowers become over-mature.
