Why Grow This Variety

  • Sweet, tender roots are well suited to fresh eating.
  • Compact growth suits garden beds and containers.
  • Simple cultivation suits beginners and experienced gardeners.

Garden Uses

Enjoy the baby carrots as snacks or in salads, cooked dishes and juices.

Growing Notes

  • Loosen the final bed to about 30 cm, remove stones and clods, and rake a level, fine surface.
  • Direct sow 3 mm deep. Keep the shallow seed zone continuously moist through the full packet germination window.
  • When seedlings are about 2–3 cm tall, snip extras rather than tugging neighbouring taproots; finish at 5 cm spacing.
  • Water evenly for uninterrupted root growth, weed shallowly, and avoid fresh manure, unfinished compost and excess nitrogen.
  • 90–130 days on the current packet; begin checking early and harvest while the small roots are tender.
