Pellet and Moisture Care
Wet each surface pellet gently so its coating softens, then keep the mix moist but never waterlogged. Use high humidity only until the first root appears. After emergence, uncover the tray, add airflow and let the surface begin to dry slightly between gentle waterings without allowing the plugs to wilt.
Planting Notes
Tray sowing is more reliable than direct sowing because the pellet needs light, steady warmth and controlled surface moisture. Harden sturdy, rooted plugs over 7–10 days and plant out only after frost danger has passed and the soil has warmed. Serenita normally supports itself and should not be pinched, as pinching delays flowering and causes uneven growth.
