- Velvety red flowers provide bold, rich colour.
- Blooms reach approximately 5-6 cm wide.
- Tall, spreading growth fills large planting spaces.
- Spacing and support can influence the final plant form.
Garden Uses
Use Tidal Wave Red Velour in full-sun landscapes or large containers where its dense growth can form mounds, hedges or supported vertical colour.
Growing Notes
- Use clean, fine, freely drained seedling mix. Surface-sow and mist the pellet until its coating softens; never bury it.
- Keep the surface evenly moist and humid only until emergence, then provide bright light and airflow.
- Move seedlings at about three true leaves and harden them gradually for 7–10 days before planting outside.
- Plant at the exact spacing above in fertile, freely drained soil and water at the root.
- Provide a large soil volume, reliable water and regular feeding; a low support is optional.
