Why Grow This Variety
- A mixed colour range creates a lively display.
- Compact basal branching supports dense coverage.
- Rain and heat tolerance support outdoor performance.
- Flowers reach approximately 5.5-6 cm wide.
Garden Uses
Use Carpet Mix in full-sun beds, borders or containers where its compact height and compact, mounded growth form can form a colourful grouped display.
Growing Notes
- Use clean, fine, freely drained seedling mix. Surface-sow and mist the pellet until its coating softens; never bury it.
- Keep the surface evenly moist and humid only until emergence, then provide bright light and airflow.
- Move seedlings at about three true leaves and harden them gradually for 7–10 days before planting outside.
- Plant at the exact spacing above in fertile, freely drained soil and water at the root.
- Smaller multiflora blooms and strong branching give better heat and weather recovery than large grandiflora flowers.
