  • Suitable for indoor or outdoor production according to the imported source copy.
  • A useful warm-season annual for cut-flower growers.

Garden & Floristry Uses

Plant Carthamus Grenade Orange in a sunny cut-flower row or production bed. Harvest stems for bright orange fresh arrangements, dried bunches or green-stage floral texture.

Growing Notes

  • Use free-draining, fertile soil and avoid waterlogged conditions.
  • Keep seedlings moist while establishing, then water deeply as needed.
  • Avoid overcrowding so stems remain strong.
  • Harvest when buds are coloured and firm for fresh use, or trial later harvests for drying.
  • Gloves can be helpful when handling mature stems, even with smoother-leaved selections.
