Automate short watering sessions for pots or Micro-Drip systems with the GARDENA Water Timer Flex. Its second-based settings and frequent start options suit balconies, patios and other compact planted areas.

For pots on a sunny South African patio, short watering cycles are useful because containers hold only a limited amount of soil and water. Pair the Flex with a compatible Micro-Drip setup and adjust timing to the plants; the optional Soil Moisture Sensor can skip a cycle when enough moisture remains.

Watering control

  • External rotary control, confirmation button and LCD display make schedule settings visible.
  • Allows watering durations from 1 second to 99 minutes and up to six activations a day.
  • Water Now starts a manual cycle without changing the saved schedule.
  • Safe Stop starts a cycle only when battery power is sufficient and warns when replacement is needed.
  • Can connect to a GARDENA Soil Moisture Sensor for moisture-based watering.

Technical settings

  • Power: one 9 V alkaline battery, not included.
  • Sensor connection: yes.
  • Operating pressure: 0.5–12 bar.
  • Tap thread: 26.5 mm (G 3/4 inch) or 33.3 mm (G 1 inch).
  • Watering frequency: every 4, 6, 8, 12, 24, 48 or 72 hours.
