Growing Notes
- Sow one raw seed per cell; no soaking or chilling is required.
- Cover with about 3 mm of fine medium and hold at 18–21°C with even moisture; light is not required before emergence.
- Move seedlings into bright light and cooler moving air immediately after emergence.
- Transplant when roots hold the plug and several true leaves have formed, then harden off gradually for 7–10 days.
- Space plants 15–20 cm apart and water at soil level; avoid waterlogged crowns, crowding and excess nitrogen.
