Beetroot Crimson Globe Seeds

R 27.50

A beautiful red colour to add a colour pop to any salad or pan of roasted veg. Beetroots are a wonderful addition to any veggie patch. The leaves are edible, as long as enough leaves are left on the plant to nurture and feed the plant. Baby leaves can be added to salads and larger, older leaves can be added to stir fries or any dish where you would normally add spinach (Swiss Chard) leaves.

Thin out your young plants to make sure their roots have enough space to grow and mature.

Companion plants are lettuces and any member of the brassica family (broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, etc)

Superb globe-shaped beetroot with a delicious taste.
